Mixing actors and the police – a good combo
TRAINING FILM
This film broke new ground, highlighting new policing methods with the use of body worn video. To create a believable script that police officers themselves would recognise we had to talk to the right people on the front line. The use of a realistic domestic abuse situation and a single crewed officer lent itself to the training target. Despite the serious nature of the subject the shoot was great fun to do, especially working with police officers, some of whom acted alongside our professional actors. They did a fine job too.
